Anonymous said: i get that, while the idea is to have the sense of something "forced", everything you do with the objectification and degradation of women is consensual in the sense that your sub is willingly a participant. i was just wondering if its your true belief that all women should be like that, as in you don't think its okay that there are women out there who share an equal relationship, or if its just your kink and you dont care that other women are being treated differently. because ive seen both
Being equal before the law and equal before the eyes of your relationship partner are two different contexts. I believe in a full sense of equality in both arenas but they take shape very differently.
Political equality is something you strive for since you are seen through the eyes of enormous and powerful institutions which, left unfettered, often privilege some lives over others (whites over minorites for an obviousl historical example). This means I support gay marriage equality, equal pay for work measures, equal taxation rate, etc. People against this equality have something to gain socially by their status as being “more equal,” i.e. supposedly “better” than others who would challenge to be included equally (like conservatives who say gay marriage ruins the sancity of their marriage… that they need their marriage to be “better” and more “meaningful”… ugh).
Privately, when one person in a relationship opts willingly for another structure premised on non-equality for whatever reason - be that a kink, social values, custom, tradition, ease of life, sacrifice, what have you - I’m absolutely in support of that as well. One has the equal right to choose to be non-equal. Giving up power as a female submissive is and should be the same as giving up power as a male submissive, which are both equal in worth to any relationship of two heteronormative people doing their thing.
Just because a female or male submissive gives up their respective relationhip powers and becomes unequal does not mean that they do so for the reason that they were unequal to begin with. People who call women “inherently inferior” because they have often held a lower status position historically and still opt for that at times is as dumb as calling a man a “supreme leader” because he went out and bought several goldfish and now runs their entire world. He wasn’t born with the superior power of goldfish maintanance. It’s just something he acquired along the way. And obviously, there are plenty of sub men who believe in the supreme power of women and give up their own equality.
It’s all complex and wide open…. have fun out there.
